The Aesthetica Short Film Festival is an exciting, dynamic festival on the UK short film festival circuit and is a great place for filmmakers from across the world to show off some of their creative talents. It’s a very new festival that’s now in it’s second year but is slowly establishing itself as an important festival.
The festival allows for all genres including action, comedy and documentary among others. The festival is placed around 15 distinct and historic locations around York and it’s the only film festival to take over an entire city centre for 4 days, this year included films from 37 countries and this exemplifies it’s growing popularity.
Winners this year included The Sugar Bowl, Hollow and Photoshopping.
